How do we keep your money safe?
Not only do we have a Chartered Accountant as the Finance Director of KMRE but each client has its own dedicated exclusive client account ensuring that client funds and accounts are not mixed together. We ensure all payments are signed off with the authority of the client with agreed limits or service level agreements (in line with RICS best practice) and as KM Real Estate is a RICS regulated company, we are part of the RICS Client Money Protection Scheme.
CLIENT MONEY PROTECTION SCHEME
KM Real Estate and Management Limited are Chartered Surveyors who are regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) as part of the Designated Professional Bodies (DPB) Scheme. As KMRE hold money for clients we are required to protect this money under an approved scheme and we are therefore part of the RICS Client Money Protection (CMP) scheme. Client Money Protection forms part of the RICS Regulation for RICS Registered Firms with effect from 1 April 2019.
